Position Open for a Registered Nurse

One of the leading Healthcare Providers is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join a staff team within a highly respectable Care Home located in Stockport,

The large sized home specialises in providing personalised nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly. They pride themselves with delivering high standards of care to enhance their quality of life.

If you are successful for this full time role, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,339 per annum with great additional benefits.

For this position, we are seeking someone with a valid NMC registration and someone who has experience within a Care Home. You will also need to have the ability to manage time effectively and keep records up-to-date and accurate. On the whole you’ll value kindness above all.

As a Registered Staff Nurse you will be expected to:

·         Deliver the highest standards of care as you assess the nursing needs of the residents.

·         Identify and create effective care plans for every resident in your care

·         Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care for each individual that meets their needs and demonstrates outcomes within the expected timescales

·         Develop a good relationship with and supervise colleagues to champion residents’ safety and dignity

·         Manage shifts and handover summaries to ensure continuity of care

·         Ensure the residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements are met

·         Maintain accurate records

·         Undertake medication administration in accordance with best practice and prevailing NMC guidance and EC policies and procedures

You must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and previous experience within a Care Home to be considered for this role.
