English Teacher
Looking for an English teaching role where your expertise is valued and your development is genuinely supported?
We’re working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school seeking a full-time English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a thriving English department where strong teaching, student success, and staff wellbeing sit at the heart of school life.
This is a school with high expectations and the support to match. Their carefully planned curriculum encourages students to think critically, communicate confidently, and develop a genuine appreciation for English Language and Literature.
Classrooms are calm, purposeful, and focused. Clear behaviour systems and consistent expectations mean teachers can spend less time managing disruption and more time doing what they do best, delivering engaging lessons that inspire learning.
The school is equally committed to supporting students beyond the classroom. A strong pastoral team works closely with families to promote wellbeing, build resilience, and help every young person reach their potential.
Staff are encouraged to share ideas, collaborate with colleagues, and continue developing their practice. Leaders are approachable, reflective, and committed to creating an environment where both students and staff can thrive.
