Pe Teacher
Looking for a PE teaching role where you can make an impact and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day?
We're working with a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in Shrewsbury seeking a PE Teacher to join their team for the academic year.
This is a school where people genuinely look out for one another. From the moment you walk through the doors, you'll notice the strong sense of community. Staff work closely together, pupils are respectful and motivated, and there's a positive atmosphere that makes teaching rewarding.
PE plays a big part in school life here. The department is passionate about helping young people develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. Whether students are competing on the sports field or taking their first steps towards building confidence in PE lessons, every achievement is celebrated.
You'll be joining a supportive department where collaboration comes naturally. The curriculum is well established, resources are readily available, and the team is committed to creating engaging experiences that help every student succeed. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved in extracurricular sport and make a wider contribution to school life.
Behaviour expectations are clear and consistent across the school, creating calm and purposeful learning environments where teachers can focus on delivering great lessons. Strong pastoral support ensures students feel valued, supported, and ready to learn.
