An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Psychologist to join an exceptional hospital based in the Nottinghamshire area. As a Lead Psychologist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This special hospital provides low secure, high dependency rehabilitation and recovery services for women with mental illnesses and personality disorders. They work with women who are stepping down from secure services, or stepping up from community or other inpatient rehabilitation care, to help them to recover and develop important life skills needed to reintegrate into the community, where possible.

As a Lead Psychologist your day to day duties include:

·         Responsible for provision of a comprehensive

·         Specialist clinical /forensic psychology service to patients within a medium, Low and Locked rehabilitation environment

·         Service delivery will be based on best clinical professional practice that meets the hospitals’ needs, policy guidelines, commissioners' requirements, user and carer needs

 

An ideal Lead Psychologist must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 and related legislation

·         Experience of reviewing policies and procedures

·         Enthusiastic and self-motivated

·         High level of skill in at least one recognised and empirically validated psychological therapy

·         Leadership/motivational skills

·         Excellent analytic and research skills

·         IT skills

·         Able to promote effective working relationships

·         Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Audit and Clinical Governance

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

 

The successful Lead Psychologist will receive an excellent annual salary of £55,000 pro rata. This exciting position is a Part Time position for 22.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
