

Night Nurse Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Night Nurse Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Arnold, Nottinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides acute adult mental health services, delivered in partnership with the areas healthcare trust. They have medium secure services on site for patients with a learning disability, and we are looking to develop other service types in the future
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**As a Night Nurse Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Monitor staff in direct patient care programmes and activities
· Embrace those managerial duties that require them to respond to night emergency situations, and the deployment of staff. To be the administrator of incidents/accidents that needs to be referred to a higher body
· Will be either ward based during part of the night, or peripatetic providing input into a group of wards across the site
· Liaise closely with the appropriate Ward Managers responsible for the 24 hour continuing responsibility of a ward
· To develop the clinical role of the night nurse practitioner, using reflective practice skills
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Management Training/previous responsibility desirable
· At least 3 years post-registration experience
· Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
· Ability to be responsive and flexible
The successful Night Nurse Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,571 - £45,020 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
