Brand new job opening for nurse qualified as Deputy Manager to work in a dynamic care home which delivering a new approach to care, putting residents’ happiness and health at the heart of our philosophy. It is a warm and inviting care home nestled in a Banbury area. Our delightful residence provides the comforts of home with 24-hour support.

 An energetic, committed yet approachable team member, the person who fulfils this role will add real value, obvious passion and commitment to both residents, families and staff alike, and will have the ability to multi-task in a high pressure environment with care and compassion.

The successful candidate for this role will be paid a competitive salary of £34,000 per annum plus other generous benefits.

As a Deputy Manager you need to:

*        Ensure the delivery of quality care continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes, developing the service to enhance their quality of life

*        Conduct care audits and monitor standards of care and take corrective action where appropriate

*        Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines ensuring all risks are proactively managed and issues identified, investigated and resolved

*        Oversee all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to clients

*        Promote high standards of nursing care for self and your team, actively seeking ways to improve levels of service

*        Be prepared to cope with incidents or emergency situations as they arise and report them to the Home Manager

What we expect from you:

*        Take a leadership role for the team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business

*        Take an active role in the development of yourself and others ensuring the team’s skill and knowledge levels are able to meet the changing needs of the business;

*        Be responsible for supervising staff, allocating work, encouraging staff development and ensuring that companies policies are followed

*        Advise on the supply and quality of items used to carry our tasks, ensuring the timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods within Home budget

*        Management of the Homes budgets

 

To be considered for this role you must be qualified as Nurse and must be registered with NMC
