AT A GLANCE

THE ROLE

In this role, you will be the dedicated support for students who find the traditional classroom environment challenging. You will:

• Provide 1-to-1 Support: Work closely with students with ASD (Autism), ADHD, or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

• Champion Inclusion: Assist students in accessing the curriculum by simplifying instructions and managing sensory needs.

• Build Confidence: Be a mentor and a consistent face for students, helping them navigate the school day with confidence.

• Track Growth: Work alongside the SENCO to monitor student progress against their individual learning plans.

WHO YOU ARE

• A Natural Communicator: You can build rapport with teenagers quickly and with ease.

• Patient & Resilient: You understand that progress takes time and you stay calm under pressure.

• Experience-Driven: Ideally, you have experience in a school, as a care worker, or a background in Psychology.

• Punctual: Reliability is key for students who depend on a stable routine.
