

Care Home Manager
An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Home Manager to work in an amazing care home based in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is a special dementia nursing/residential care home and it consists of four separate living units, each with six single bedrooms, ideal for nursing and respite needs, as well as people suffering from a dementia-related illness
As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:
· To utilise authentic leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
· To become the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service with 24 hour responsibility for the care of the Service Users
· To manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
· To provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users
· To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CQC and CSSIW for the Registration and Inspection of Nursing Homes and NMC guidelines
· To promote the Equality and Diversity of Service Users living and staff working in the environment
· To build the reputation of the Service
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Be able to communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families and colleagues, good interpersonal and working relationship skills are essential
· Have a good understanding of the disabilities, health and social care needs, of service users and assist those who have mobility or continence needs, using the appropriate aids and equipment
· It is essential to be Health and Safety aware, to ensure the safety of our services users and colleagues
· Previous experience as a manager or DM with good CQC report
The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,965 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week working through Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN or RMN with a valid NMC Pin. **Will also accept those who have an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care**
