Excellent job opening for a experienced Ward Nurse to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare company. As a ward nurse you will be working in highly reputed hospital based in Bath.

You’ll be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. You will also work closely with therapists and social workers to ensure that patients are kept at the centre of the decision making process.

 

The successful nurse will be offered an excellent salary of £22,128 - £28,746 per annum plus other great benefits.

 

The ward nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of

care for a group of identified service users and will provide and maintain a high standard of

patient focussed care that ensures patient safety; dignity and respect are paramount to the care

delivered.

 

As a nurse you will be providing intensive rehabilitation for predominately older people

Following episodes of acute illness and injury, with the aim to ensure timely discharge.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Promote optimum independence through encouraging rehabilitation techniques

·         Ensure quality of life including end of life care recognising the individual needs, rights,

privacy and dignity of patients are respected at all times.

·         Will work with other members of the team to ensure each patient has a safe and timely

discharge to their agreed destination.

·         Work within a designated team, delegating tasks to untrained staff members and

students. Participating in their development.

·         In the absence of more senior staff be able to take the lead in an emergency situation

and be familiar with emergency procedures within the ward.

 

To be considered for this role you must be Registered Nurse and have experience as a nurse for at least 24 months experience as a nurse.
