

Deputy Manager
An exciting job opportunity has just opened for a dedicated Deputy Manager to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare provider. As a Deputy Manager you will be working in highly reputable service based in Merseyside.
The special care team provides nursing care for people with complex medical needs, as well as 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. They also provide residential dementia care where we support our residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
· Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, their families and visitors.
· Applying relevant policies and statutory requirements within the ward and hospital framework of governance and communicates requirements to the wider team.
· Ensuring that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and those statutory requirements are met.
· Respecting and applying the requirements of equality and diversity, promoting and role modelling these across the team.
· Identifying deficits in skill mix and safe staffing levels and acts to address these.
· Supervising a defined group of team members and contributes to their overall CPD, mandatory training and appraisal process recognising the skills required across the team.

· You should have good Dementia care experience
· Able to write and audit care plans
· Assist in assessments
· Experience in managing staff and ensuring the service runs smoothly
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £17.00 per hour. This exciting position is for 42 hours a week which includes supernumerary hours. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
