An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed RMN – Private Ward to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Edgbaston, Birmingham area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides fast access to expert treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety, and stress
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a valid NMC Pin**
As a Nurse your key duties include:
· Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse
· Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress
· Monitor and review Nursing Care plans
· Evaluate and respond to changes in patient condition and needs
· To promote and to maintain an environment conducive to meeting the needs of the patient/relatives and carers
· Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonable practicable a safe environment
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Knowledge of the Mental Health Act
· Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
· Fine tuned decision making skills
· Excellent organisational capability
· Effective communication skills
· Flexibility and a strong “can do” attitude
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to £37,227 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
