

Advanced Clinical Practitioner
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in an exceptional mental health service based in the Blackburn, Lancashire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This special mental health service caters to the treatment needs of male patients with a mental illness and/or personality disorder, maximising their opportunity for recovery, rehabilitation and independent living
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin | Hold a Nurse Prescriber qualification or working toward achieving this**As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner your key responsibilities include:
· Assessment of admissions and contribution to care planning
· Deliver physical health care, conduct relevant investigations and treatments and respond to emergencies
· Prescribe medication within their competencies
· On call cover and cross cover of other APs
· Good record keeping including preparation of reports (discharge summaries, CPA reports, referrals)
· Daily emergency medical rota, seclusion and enhanced care reviews
· Prioritise preventative healthcare to improve outcome
· Participate in quality improvement activities including teaching
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Experience in physical health or general nursing would be an advantage
· A team player and responsive to service needs
· Be self-aware, seeking support and advice when required
· Good listening and rapport building ability
· Able to organise and prioritise own time
The successful Advanced Clinical Practitioner will receive an excellent salary of £63,400 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
