

Deputy Manager
An outstanding job opportunity has just opened for a committed Deputy Manager to work with one of UK's Leading Healthcare Providers. As a Deputy Manager you will be working in an exceptional care home based in the Boston area.
The special Care team offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care where we support people to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. They also provide nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
· Ensuring the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
· Assisting the home manager – deputising in the overall management of the care home as required.
· Positively influencing the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
· Support the financial effectiveness of the home – ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resources and identify areas to improve efficiency.
· Take on an active leadership role – you will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business.
· Developing your people – oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team.
· People management – play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team.
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding as required.
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Strong leadership and management qualities
· Strong passion to enhance the service
· Registered Nurse and hold a current registration with NMC
· You must also be a positive and empathic individual
· Flexible attitude and desire to make a difference.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive a competitive salary of £17.26 per hour. This exciting position is for 36 hours a week with 12 supernumerary hours on Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be a qualified as a Nurse either, RGN, RMN or RNLD
