An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Assistant Service Manager to work in an exceptional surgery service. As an Assistant Service Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This special Surgery are committed to providing patients with a full general practice service and access to a range of health professionals. They offer a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses and minor injuries.

As an Assistant Service Manager your day to day duties include:

·         Deliver and performance manage the provision of high quality clinical services

·         Manage the day to day operational running of the office/services

·         Provide line management support to the Administration Team

·         Responsible for defined Human Resource requirements within the services workforce

·         Support the Service Manager and Regional Operations Manager in their aim to deliver a smooth effective service.  Back this up by a full understanding of the service delivery specification and contractual obligations

·         Support the Service Manager by taking responsibility for all systems to monitor and track all relevant workforce information for all staff such as qualifications, training and appraisals, professional registrations, and indemnity

 

An ideal Assistant Service Manager must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, verbal and written

·         Good organisational skills

·         Experience of risk management processes

·         Experience of effective day to day management of employees

·         Skills and experience in project management

·         Experience in financial management and control

·         Experience in Microsoft Office

·         Excellent people skills

·         Experience and skills in change management

·         Good negotiation skills

 

The successful Assistant Service Manager will receive an excellent salary of up to £34,000 per annum. This exciting position is Fixed Term until March 2021. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
