Charge Nurse for Care Home

A great position has opened for a Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a fantastic Care Home that is located in Brandon.

The 40 bedded home offers a range of nursing and residential care for the service users that are living with dementia, physical disabilities and old age.

This is a full time role working for 42 hours per week on rotational day and night shifts. The successful nurse will receive a competitive salary of £18.00 per hour with additional benefits such as childcare vouchers, retail discount scheme and many more.

Your role as a Charge Nurse will be to:

• Provide care for the residents on a daily basis undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required, including periods on night duty if necessary
• Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality
• Responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes
• Contribute to the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research based practice, with a view to meeting PREPP requirement

To be considered for this role you must be a Registered Nurse with a Valid NMC Pin and experience in a senior level within a nursing or care environment.
