One of the leading Healthcare Providers is currently seeking a Registered Nurse, Deputy Manager to join a pristine Care Home located in Suffolk.
The medium sized home specialises in providing residential and nursing care for the elderly with physical disabilities within a spacious and modern-styled home.

As the Deputy Manager within the home, you will be expected to assist in the management of the business and team. As you will be part of the leadership team you will be responsible for ensuring the whole facility operates effectively and ensure that the highest quality of care is being given.
You main duties will be to:
· Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
· Assist the home manager – deputise in the overall management of the care home as required.
· Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
· Play an active role in ensuring compliance within the home – managing the implementation of company policies and regulatory requirements; striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality.
· Maintain clinical excellence – role models high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines are followed.
· Support the financial effectiveness of the home
· Take on an active leadership role
· People management – play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team.
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding as required.
You must be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC Pin for this role. You will also need strong leadership and management qualities and previous experience as a deputy home manager would be desirable. It is crucial for you to have a positive and flexible attitude as well as forward thinking and up to date with current practices. You will have the opportunity to take managerial and leadership roles whilst continuing to deliver clinical care.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with a current NMC Pin and experience within a senior role.
