An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated District Nurse (Sister) to work with one of UK's leading health care providers. As a District Nurse (Sister)you will be working in a highly reputed service within the Burton On Trent area.

Their work is crucial to the community, as they aim to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. You’ll care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best, delivering the high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.

 

As a District Nurse your day to day duties include:

·         You will be an autonomous practitioner and will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload of patients

·         Carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes

·         You will be accountable for the standards of care and for determining the activity of your team of support staff

·         This is a challenging and exciting position where you will be supported both with regular clinical reflection and professional training.

 

An ideal District Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         1st level nurse

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Confident working across professional boundaries

·         You will need to be flexible, adaptable & a good team player with the ability to work independently within a community setting
