

Deputy Ward Manager
An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for committed Deputy Ward Manager to join an exceptional Mental Health Service base in Bury. As a Deputy Ward Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special mental health service provides leading person-centred neurorehabilitation programmes that are bespoke to the severity and complexity of a person’s particular neurodisability. They provide care for people with neurodisabilities resulting from acquired brain injuries (ABI), including those caused by traumatic brain injury (TBI) or neurodegenerative conditions.
As a Deputy Ward Manager your day to day duties include:
· Supervision and management of care staff
· Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
· Planning staff rotas
· Establish and maintain outstanding communication with clients, relatives and colleagues
· Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager
· Undertake on call within a rota
· Demonstrate consistent leadership and role modelling
An ideal Deputy Ward Manager must have these as they are beneficial for this position:
· Must be RGN qualified with a valid NMC Pin Number
· Must have senior nursing experience working within a care home setting
· Brain Injury experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided
· Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team a nd have sound knowledge of regulatory requirements
· Must be able to complete an enhanced DBS check
The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £38,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
