

Clinical Lead
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Clinical Lead to join an exceptional care home based in the Carlisle area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
The special care team provides nursing care for people living with complex medical needs, as well as 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. They also provide residential care for those who need a little help with daily tasks, and residential dementia care, where they support residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home.
As a Clinical Lead your day to day duties include:
· Continually assess the residents’ needs and develop the service to enhance their quality of life
· Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the clients changing physical, social and psychological needs
· Building a positive reputation of the home and unit
· Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
· Ensuring all medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
· Conducting care audits
· Taking an active role in training the team of nurses and ensure they are kept up to date with current practices and research led developments
· Ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to ensure the efficient running of the home
An ideal Clinical Lead must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience within a relevant field.
· You must also have a positive a flexible attitude

· Up to date with current practices
· Maintain excellent industry knowledge
The successful Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary of £17.00 per hour and the annual salary of £38,896. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 44 hours a week on Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
