We currently have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse RMN Or RNLD Nurse to work for a Mental Health Hospital within the Charlwood area.

The Hospital is a 50 bed, low and medium secure hospital specialising in treating patients aged 18+ who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and who will benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a forensic background and have relevant experience. The experienced candidate will be paid a competitive salary of £32,875 Per Annum.

The hospital's consultant-led, multidisciplinary teams have a wealth of clinical and research experience in forensic psychiatry and rehabilitation. Treatment is targeted toward safe patient resettlement in the community where possible.

The following treatment and care is provided within the hospital:

·         Offending behaviour and related risks addressed through specific, evidence-based interventions that include insight treatment compliance and relapse prevention

·         Optimise functioning and improve quality of life

·         Enhance patient dignity and self-esteem

·         Social skills interventions: anger and anxiety management; improving assertiveness; stability in relationships

·         HCR-V3 and START risk management tools

·         Comprehensive range of occupational and complementary therapies like community skills training which aim to enhance patient dignity, self-esteem and functioning

·         Family support and psycho-education

·         Specialist forensic cognitive behavioural therapy assessment and interventions

You must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse and have the relevant experience.
