A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to work for a highly respectable Care Home located in Chesterfield.

 

The special Care team provides residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break, and day care.

 

As a Manager your day to day duties include:

·         Ensuring quality care by continually assessing the service users needs and develop the service to enhance their quality of life

·         Deputising in the management of the home, playing an active part in recruiting, assessing and supervising the team

·         Ensuring the home operates within budget through effective use of resources and identify areas to improve where needed

·         Be a visible and active leader in the home

·         Overseeing the induction of new employees and participating in their training development

·         Supporting the manager in disciplinary proceedings where required

 

An ideal Manager must have these skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Registered Nurse with NMC registration

·         Experience within a leadership/managerial position

·         Up to date with current practices

·         Positive and flexible attitude

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

 

The successful Manager will receive a competitive salary of £16 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £32,448.00 PA. This exciting position is for 39 hours a week on days. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
