We are currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Chigwell. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and are looking for flexible or longer-term opportunities within education.

Roles may involve working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, providing classroom support, small group interventions, or one-to-one assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with learning activities

  • Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

  • Supporting pupils with SEND where required

  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

  • Following school policies, including safeguarding procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children (school experience desirable)

  • A calm, patient and positive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
