An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join an exceptional care home based in the Consett area . As a Deputy Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

The special Care team offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care where they support residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. They also provide nursing care for people with complex medical needs.

As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:

·         Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.

·         Assist the home manager – deputise in the overall management of the care home as required

·         Play an active role in ensuring compliance within the home

·         Managing the implementation of company policies and regulatory requirements

·         Striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality

·         Take on an active leadership role

·         You will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business

·         Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding as required.
