

Service Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Service Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Newtonabbey, Northern Ireland area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This is a purpose built nursing home which specialises in; older people nursing care, dementia nursing, respite care services, re-enablement/convalescence services and end of life/palliative care
** To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Service Manager your key responsibilities include:
· Ensuring delivery of effective quality care to the people we support, helping residents to grow in self-worth and where possible independently, enhancing overall quality of life
· Manage and maximise occupancy, by building a positive local reputation and through creative marketing strategies
· Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements (RQIA) meeting and exceeding care standards, taking accountability for the home striving for excellence, high ratings, and quality recognition within the local community
· Positive management of staff including HR/supervisions/appraisal/staff training/ acknowledging and utilising staff potential (with the support of central service teams)
· Maintaining financial efficiency and budgets for the home
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Highly motivated and experienced leader
· Have the drive and passion to deliver excellent care and support
· Significant knowledge of the Northern Ireland regulatory framework the company works within
· Have experience within a similar role
The successful Service Manager will receive an excellent salary of £55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week on Day Shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
