We are proud to announce that our client is looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse Deputy Manager to join one of the UK’s leading care companies by working in a pristine nursing home in County Durham.

The reputable nursing home is situated in the Auckland area and as well as providing care for general nursing and residential residents, the service is renowned for providing excellent specialised care for residents with dementia.

The successful candidate will receive a fantastic salary of around £17.50 per hour depending on experience as well as a number of generous benefits.

As the Deputy Home Manager you have responsibility for assisting in the management of a business and a team. As part of the leadership team you will be responsible for ensuring the whole facility operates effectively and of course ensuring we deliver the very best quality care.

Responsibilities:

·         Ensure the delivery of quality care.

·         Assist the home manager.

·         Positively influence the reputation of the home.

·         Play an active role in ensuring compliance within the home.

·         Maintain clinical excellence.

·         Support the financial effectiveness of the home.

·         Take on an active leadership role.

·         Developing your people.

·         People management.

·         Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding as required.

Requirements:

·         A strong passion and commitment to enhance the specialist services we deliver.

·         A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos.

·         Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.

·         Strong leadership and management qualities are essential

·         Previous experience as a deputy home manager would be desirable.

Applicants must hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and have a legal right to work in the UK.
