Charge Nurse RN

One of the leading Healthcare Services is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to take the role of Charge Nurse within a Hospital located in Daventry.

The 70 bedded specialist Hospital provides rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions.

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of up to £37,000 per annum with fantastic additional benefits.

As the Charge Nurse your duties will be to:

·         Have responsibility for the clinical care of all residents in the absence of the Senior Nurse Manager.

·         Participate as a member of the nursing team in the assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans

·         Provide ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents’ physical and physiological needs

·         Maintain safe custody, accurate administration and recording of drugs at all times

·         Be aware of the effected of prescribed medication, advising residents and liaising and/or informing other health professionals where required.

·         Maintain concise records and provide reports as necessary for each resident’s care review.

·         Attend daily/weekly meetings

·         Be able to identified and evaluate areas for potential service improvement sharing and developing practice

·         Ensure clear communication with all other company departments and staff

·         Act as a professional role model, clinical leader, a resource for staff, and support guide and supervise staff as required

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of registered nurse experience.
