

Director of Clinical Services
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Director of Clinical Services to work in an exceptional mental health service based in the Diss, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This service provides low secure care and specialised treatment for adults aged 18 years and older with a learning disability. Patients may also have other associated conditions including personality disorders, mental illnesses and autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs)
**To be considered for this position you must be with either NMC or HCPC – needs of the service will dictate if there is a preference**As the Director of Clinical Services your key responsibilities include:
· Ensures delivery of the highest level of clinical and therapeutic care together with ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and current legislation, meeting quality standards and delivering against quality performance indicators
· Provides leadership, organisation and co-ordination to ensure effective clinical governance
· Providing professional advice on quality governance issues to all staff at site, promoting high standards of care and development of clinical practice
· As part of the Senior Management team will carry out on-call duties as directed by the Hospital Director
· Work closely with the regional Quality Improvement Lead in ensuring site improvement is evident and requesting support when needed
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
· Passionate about providing high quality care and continuous improvement
· Demonstrated leadership and decision making skills essential
· Forward thinking, proactive and creative
· The ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment
· Experience of working at a supervisory or managerial level within a relevant clinical setting; minimum 2 years working as a Ward Manager or equivalent
· Experience of managing a clinical budget
The successful Director of Clinical Services will receive an excellent salary of £47,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
