

Deputy Manager
An amazing new job opportunity has just arisen for a committed deputy manager to work for one of the UK’s leading health care companies. As a nurse you will be working for a care home based in Dorset.
Our client offers specialist nursing, dementia and residential care.
As a deputy manager your day to day duties will include:
· Ensuring the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
· Assisting the home manager – deputising in the overall management of the care home as required.
· Positively influencing the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
· Support the financial effectiveness of the home – ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resources and identify areas to improve efficiency.
· Take on an active leadership role – you will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business.
· Developing your people – oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team.
· People management – play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team.
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding as required.
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Strong leadership and management qualities
· Strong passion to enhance the service
· Registered Nurse and hold a current registration with NMC
· You must also be a positive and empathic individual
· Flexible attitude and desire to make a difference.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £48,233.00 PA. This exciting position is for 37.5 hours per week on day shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
