

Deputy Manager
An amazing new job has just opened for a committed Deputy Manager to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team within a highly reputable service based within the West Midlands.
This beautiful care home offer residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, and respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a deputy manager your day to day duties will include:
· Ensuring the delivery of quality care.
·
Continually assessing the residents’ needs and
wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
Assist the home manager – deputise in the overall management of the care home
as required.
Positively influence the reputation of the home.

Communicating professionally and warmly with
visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
Play an active role in ensuring compliance within the home.
· Managing the implementation of company policies and regulatory requirements.
·
Striving to achieve the best possible care
rating and other external recognition of quality.
Maintaining clinical excellence.
·
Ensuring legal, regulatory and best practice
guidelines are followed.
Supporting the financial effectiveness of the home.
· Ensuring the home operates within budget through effective use of resources.
·
Identify areas to improve efficiency.
Take on an active leadership role.
·
You will need to be a visible leader in the home
supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business.
Support the manager in disciplinary
proceeding as required.
An ideal deputy manager must have these skills as they are beneficial to this role:
· Experience at a similar levelled role
· A strong passion and commitment to enhance the specialist services that the company delivers.
· A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference.
· Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.
· Deputy Managers are critical to the continued success of the business, working across all aspects of care; the role gives a great opportunity to take manager and leadership responsibilities whilst continuing to deliver clinical care.
The Deputy Managers position is full time. The successful manager will receive an excellent salary of £16.00 per hour. This exciting position is full time for 40 hours on days only. In return for all your hard work and commitment, you will receive these generous benefits.
