

Forensic or Clinical Psychologist
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Forensic or Clinical Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Edgbaston, Birmingham area. As a Psychologist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special hospital provides expert treatment for a range of mental health difficulties, including addictions, depression, anxiety and stress.
As a Forensic or Clinical Psychologist your day to day duties include:
· Enable service users to adapt to any aspect of their life with more independence, confidence and control
· Considering the service user's and their family's views carefully
· Assess the young person's psychological needs, devise psychological formulations and treatment plans in conjunction with the Multi-Disciplinary Team
· Contribute in the young person to adapt to any aspect of their life with more independence, confidence and control
· You will help the young people to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity
An ideal Forensic or Clinical Psychologist must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Doctorate in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
· HCPC and BPS registered
· Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the Mental Health Act in service provision with young people
· Patient centric & commitment to delivering high quality care
· Fine tuned decision making skills Familiar with a range of psychometric assessment tools tailored to the needs of young people
· Excellent organisational capability
· Effective communication skills

To be considered for this position you must hold a Doctorate in Clinical or Forensic Psychology and be HCPC and BPS registered
