

Psychologist
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Psychologist to join an exceptional facility based in Birmingham. As a Psychologist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This is a rehabilitation and recovery service for females with complex mental health needs, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. Some may have co-morbid conditions such as mild learning disabilities, alcohol and drug use and borderline personality disorder.
As a Psychologist your day to day duties include:
• Qualified Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years experience in working in mental health services.
• Strong focus on service development, service evaluation, providing psychological consultation, expert opinion, cascading psychological thinking, developing and delivering teaching, training and group work
• To provide clinical, professional and managerial leadership to the MDT team and ward. To be responsible for the day-to-day pyschology support. To ensure a high standard of evidence-based psychology care is consistently delivered to patients. To ensure that a safe, cost effective service is provided. To act as a role model and patient advocate, ensuring a positive patient experience for all. To be responsible for Information Governance standards.
• Promote good relationships with patient, relatives, public, other care organisations and all members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• To ensure audit compliance (CQC).
• To carry out clinical superivison to Assistant Psychologist.
• Promote good communication skills written and verbally.
The successful Psychologist will receive an excellent salary of £50,000. This exciting position is a Part Time role for 22.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
