

Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead
Our Client is one of the UK's leading health care providers and they are currently seeking a committed Deputy Manager to work in a highly reputable service in the Edmonton area.
The special Care team offers nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, as well as 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. They also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
· Continually assess the service users needs and wishes and develop the service to enhance their quality of life
· Deputise in the overall management of the care home
· Communicate professionally with visitors which will include family, friends and other external stakeholders
· Ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resource and identify areas to improve
· Become a visible leader in the home supporting the staff as well as the residents
· Oversee the induction of new employees and participate in the training development of the team
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding where required
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills and experiences as they are beneficial for this position:
· Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration
· Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager
· Up to date with current practices
· The ability to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge
· Strong leadership and management qualities
The successful Deputy Manager will receive a competitive salary of £20.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £45,760. This exciting position is for 44 hours a week with 22 hours supernumerary hours and 11 hours to work as the Clinical Lead.
