

Deputy Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to join an exceptional care home. As a Nurse you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation in the Forfar area.
The special Care team offers residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care, where we support residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. They also provide nursing care for people with complex medical needs, and 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:
· Continually assessing the resident’s needs and wishes and develop the service to enhance their quality of life
· Deputise in the overall management of the care home as required
· Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and external stakeholders
· Role model high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal regulatory and best practise guidelines are followed
· Ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resource and identify areas to improve efficiency
· You will need to be a visible leader in the home, supporting the operation of a 24 hour business
· Oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team
· Play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding where required
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Experience of managing a home
· Good clinical skills
· Good with nursing
· Good customer service care
· Leadership skills
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £17.76 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £36,248.16. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 39.25 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
