Are you a KS1 teacher who loves sparking curiosity, building routines, and helping young learners find their confidence?

Protocol Education is working with a friendly Primary School in Gateshead looking for a KS1 Teacher to join them on a long-term basis. You’ll be stepping into a supportive environment where teamwork matters and pupils are encouraged to thrive.

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching a KS1 class with support from experienced staff
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Creating a positive, structured classroom environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
• Working closely with colleagues and support staff

What we’re looking for:

• UK QTS (or equivalent)
• Experience teaching in KS1
• A warm, patient and organised teaching style
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
• Two professional child-related references Long-term roles in schools that value their teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
