Protocol Education supports Primary Schools across Gateshead, placing KS1 Teaching Assistants into full-time classroom roles where consistency and care really matter.

The role will involve:

• Supporting KS1 pupils in the classroom

• Helping children settle into daily routines

• Assisting with phonics, early reading and number work

• Offering reassurance and encouragement throughout the day

• Working closely with the class teacher

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children

• Is patient, nurturing and reliable

• Enjoys supporting early learning

• Can commit to full-time hours

• Has the right to work in the UK

• Holds a DBS, or is happy to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
