

KS2 TEACHER - IMMEDIATE START

Protocol Education is working with a welcoming Primary School in Gateshead to recruit a KS2 Teacher for a long-term role. This is a school where children are encouraged to think deeply, challenge themselves and feel proud of who they are, all within a calm, inclusive environment where relationships come first.
Key responsibilities:

Teaching a KS2 class with a clear, consistent and supportive approach

Planning and delivering engaging lessons that stretch thinking and spark curiosity

Creating a positive classroom culture where pupils feel safe, respected and motivated

Supporting pupils to develop independence, resilience and responsibility for their learning

Promoting positive behaviour rooted in fairness, respect and kindness
-
Working closely with colleagues to contribute to a strong, collaborative school community
What we’re looking for:

UK QTS (or equivalent)
-
Experience teaching in KS2
-
A calm, reflective and confident teaching style
-
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and child development
-
A team-focused mindset and clear communication skills
-
Right to work in the UK
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
