Protocol Education supports Primary Schools across Gateshead and surrounding areas, providing Teaching Assistants for day-to-day and short-term cover. It’s ideal if you enjoy variety, flexibility and stepping in to support where you’re needed most.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting learning across different year groups

  • Assisting teachers with classroom routines and activities

  • Helping pupils stay engaged, focused and confident

  • Offering extra support where needed, without pressure

  • Being adaptable, friendly and ready to muck in

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children (Even if it is just family)

  • Is reliable, flexible and approachable

  • Enjoys supporting learning in a hands-on way

  • Can settle quickly into new schools

  • Has the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
