We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with valid Pin number and proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.   

This is a large size service and offering care for people with Dementia.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £31,995 - £39,312 per annum plus other great benefits.

As a Unit Manager you will take  responsibility for a specific part of the home and delivering the very best level of care and running the entire place when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. Leading your team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit or floor within the home, including maintaining accurate records for each of our residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards. You will take responsibility for assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents, whilst at the same time building excellent personal relationships with both them and their families .Creating and developing strong links with local professional bodies, you will play an important role in raising the care home’s profile within the community. It is likely that, from time to time, you will be expected to provide cover outside of normal hours.  So, whether you’re reporting that the new lady who just came in appears to have some mobility issues, asking a gentleman to provide a sample for monitoring or administering a medicine, you’ll always have resident dignity and wellbeing in mind above all.
