

Deputy Manager
We are excited to announce that this post is to work within an exceptional Nursing Home and as a deputy manager you will be working for one of the leading care companies in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a deputy manager with a good track record.
The prestigious nursing home is large sized home and provide support for people with Alzheimer's, Bipolar/Manic Depression, Challenging Behaviour and offering Dementia.
The ideal candidate would be positive, supportive, motivational and have a caring manner which will be followed by your team. You’ll be driven by the desire to improve and develop your own skills and those around you. As a Deputy Manager you will have a keen eye for detail, always act with integrity and be driven by the principles of fairness.
The successful candidate for this job will be offered salary of £32,000-£35,000 per annum plus other great benefits. You will be working 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
· Responsible for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff by observation and direct involvement, ensuring that all residents receive quality medical and personal care and that care plans are fully maintained.
· Act at all times in line with NMC Code of Professional Conduct (if relevant).
· To support the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives. To become knowledgeable and competent in managing the Home.
· Prepare the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times.
· Appraise staff.
· Instruction of all staff in safe systems of work, fire safety and evacuation procedures, and induction of new staff.
· Responsible for monitoring the state of wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation.

Qualifications
Applicants must be RGN or RMN qualified and have at least 24 months experience of working in a similar role.
