

Deputy Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Manager to join a care home which is based in the North Yorkshire area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
The special care team offers 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions. They also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day responsibilities include:
· Continually assessing the resident’s needs and wishes and develop the service to enhance their quality of life
· Deputise in the overall management of the care home as required
· Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and external stakeholders
· Role model high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal regulatory and best practise guidelines are followed
· Ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resource and identify areas to improve efficiency
· You will need to be a visible leader in the home, supporting the operation of a 24 hour business
· Oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team
· Play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding where require
An ideal Deputy Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Good Management experience
· Have experience in Mental Health Settings
· Good with high pressured environments
· Experience in working in low secure environment
· Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Deputy Manager will receive a competitive salary of £16.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £32,032. This exciting position is for 38.5 hours a week on Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive the following generous benefits:
