AT A GLANCE

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £85 - £110 (depending on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday
THE ROLE
Working as an SEN TA is about more than just academic support; it’s about building confidence and independence. You will:

Provide 1-to-1 Support: Work closely with students with Autism (ASC), ADHD, or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).

Adapt Learning: Simplify instructions and create visual aids to help students access the curriculum.

Monitor Progress: Track social and academic development, reporting back to the SENCO.

Foster Wellbeing: Create a calm, safe space for students who may struggle with the sensory demands of a busy school.
ABOUT YOU

Empathetic & Patient: You understand that every child learns differently.

Proactive: You can spot when a student is becoming overwhelmed and intervene effectively.

Experienced: Previous experience with SEN (either in a school, care, or personal setting) is highly desirable.

Committed: This school is looking for a consistent figure who can provide stability for their students.
