

Deputy Manager
An amazing new job has just opened for a committed Deputy Manager to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team within a highly reputable service based in Hartlepool.
As one of the leading care homes in Hartlepool, The care team provides residential care for those who need help with daily tasks, nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, palliative care and dementia care. They also provide respite care to give family or friends a well-earned break.
As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include;
· Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and other external stakeholders.
· Assist the home manager – deputise in the overall management of the care home as required
· Play an active role in ensuring compliance within the home
· Managing the implementation of company policies and regulatory requirements
· Striving to achieve the best possible care rating and other external recognition of quality
· Take on an active leadership role
· You will need to be a visible leader in the home supporting the operation of a twenty four hour business
· Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding as required.
An ideal deputy manager must have these skills as they are beneficial to this position:
· Experience at a similar levelled role
· A strong passion and commitment to enhance the specialist services that the company delivers.
· A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference.
· Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.
· Deputy Managers are critical to the continued success of the business, working across all aspects of care; the role gives a great opportunity to take manager and leadership responsibilities whilst continuing to deliver clinical care.
· Experience in managing staff and ensuring the service runs smoothly
The Deputy Managers position is for 38.5 hours per week and the successful manager will receive an excellent salary of £17.00 per hour ( £34,034.00 PA ) plus generous benefits in return of all their hard work and commitment. Benefits include:
