

Ward Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Hatfield, Hertfordshire area. As a Ward Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
The hospital provides care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders or with learning disabilities who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.
As a Ward Manager your responsibilities include:
· Accepting 24 hour responsibility for the hospital wards on a rotational basis within the framework of the on call structure
· Co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment
· Participating fully with the multi-disciplinary team and undertaking direct patient care
· Managing and directing the delivery of clinical services within the ward or unit
· Providing strong and robust leadership and management in the clinical environment
· Monitoring the performance and conduct of staff and to take corrective action where required
· Promoting and safeguarding the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors
· Responsibility for working within the parameters of the service budget
· Ensuring the confidentiality, security and accuracy of data and information and compliance with Regulatory guidelines
· Maintain standards of competence as defined by the NMC

The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent annual salary from £39,000 - £41,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
