A fantastic job opportunity has just been opened for a motivated  Deputy Manager to join a pristine Care Home that is located within Tyne & Wear.

The medium sized care home provides Residential, Respite and Nursing care. The multi disciplinary team also provides dedicated dementia, end of life and palliative care. It is known for providing high-quality physical healthcare in a stimulating social setting.

As a Deputy Manager your day to day duties include:

·         Continually assessing the resident’s needs and wishes and develop the service to enhance their quality of life

·         Deputise in the overall management of the care home as required

·         Communicate professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends and external stakeholders

·         Role model high standards of nursing care, ensuring legal regulatory and best practise guidelines are followed

·         Ensure the home operates within budget through effective use of resource and identify areas to improve efficiency

·         You will need to be a visible leader in the home, supporting the operation of a 24 hour business

·         Oversee the induction of all new employees and participate in the training development of the team

·         Play an active part in the recruitment, assessment and supervision of the team

·         Support the manager in disciplinary proceeding where required

 

The successful Deputy Manager will receive a competitive salary of £15.00 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £25,740. This exciting position is for 33 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
