Secondary Teaching Assistant 

Full-time, January 2026

School: Specialist SEN provision within a mainstream secondary school.

Role: Work one-to-one with pupils with ASD or SEMH, support differentiated lessons, and assist with behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

Experience working with SEN students.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to implement differentiated learning strategies.

Desirable:

Level 3 or higher in SEN or Education.

Training in therapeutic or SEMH approaches.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
