

Registered Manager
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Manager to manage an assisted living facility based in the Hove area. As a Registered Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special service is a specialist therapeutic home providing education and essential life skills for young adults with Autism and other associated conditions. They provide education, independence, social skills, and/or undertake work-based learning where appropriate. At the home they work hard to ensure each individuals potential is being met. They provide 24 hour specialist care and support, 52 weeks a year.
As a Registered Manager your day to day duties include:
· Holds regular staff meetings to foster good communication and feedback.
· Maintains positive contact with commissioners and referrers to develop confidence in service provision.
· Carries out or ensures that all risk assessments e.g. clinical risk assessment, COSHH, Legionella, Moving & handling etc are carried out in a rigorous and timely manner.
· Monitors the standards of cleanliness of the home to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies.
· Inducts and orientates new staff in a timely fashion and ensures statutory and other training is provided to maximise the ability of new staff to become integrated into the care setting.
· Proactively participates in the company quality and compliance policy and procedures
An ideal Registered Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
· Commitment to delivering high quality care
· Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
· Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
· Fine tuned decision making skills
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude
The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent annual salary from £36,000 - £38,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN or RMN
