Clinical Lead Nurse to join Nursing Home

Our client is one of the Leading Healthcare Services that are currently seeking a Clinical Lead (Nurse Qualified) to join a highly respected Nursing Home located in Manchester.

The beautifully landscaped home specialises in providing high quality care for people living with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions or physical disabilities. They provide a range of care and treatments such as nursing, residential and dementia care.

If you are successful for this role you will receive a competitive salary of £15.72 per hour with great additional benefits.

As a Clinical Lead you will be expected to provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervise/coach colleagues to deliver a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.

Your main duties will be to:

·         Continually assess the residents’ needs and develop the service to enhance their quality of life

·         Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the clients changing physical, social and psychological needs

·         Building a positive reputation of the home and unit

·         Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines

·         Ensuring all medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered

·         Conducting care audits

·         Taking an active role in training the team of nurses and ensure they are kept up to date with current practices and research led developments

·         Ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to ensure the efficient running of the home

You will need the following skills and experience:

·         Qualified Registered Nurse

·         Current NMC registration

·         Experience within a senior role

·         Experience with person centred care planning within a care home

You must be a qualified Registered Nurse and have experience within a senior position to be considered for this role.
