New Job opening for experienced Senior RMN/RNLD Staff Nurse to work with one the UK’s leading mental health company. As senior nurse you will be providing nursing care as part of a trans disciplinary team within a neuropsychiatry environment. 

The facility cares for people with Acquired Brain Injury as well as Progressive Neurological Conditions (PNC) such as Huntingdon's disease and Dementia and is around 40 bedded.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £26,000 - £30,500, per annum plus other great benefits. 

Senior Staff Nurse role involves:

• Contributing to pre-admission assessment of referred patients

• Contributing to the comprehensive assessment of a patient on admission

• Compiling a holistic plan of care in partnership with the individual

• Compiling a positive risk management plan

• Monitoring and reviewing individualised patient plans, within an evidence based framework

• Prioritising, organising, and deploying under direction, resources to meet the requirements of the ward  for the duration of a shift

• Committing to the promotion of basic living skills within a rehabilitation setting

• Contributing to the delivery of evidence based therapeutic interventions as agreed by the transdisciplinary team

Skills/Knowledge

• Completion of pre-registration/ Preceptorship

• Self-motivated
