30 bed purpose built low secure independent hospital that treats men with mental illness who require secure care in a setting providing both physical and psychological security is seeking for a qualified RMN Nurse. The hospital help patients and commissioners find the right care pathways without the need for multiple reassessments.

The successful candidate for this role will be paid a competitive salary of £ 21,918 - £ 33,657 per annum plus other generous benefits.

Your duties will include:

• Being a clear leader for the nursing team and managing shifts
• Respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Monitoring patient progress
• Contributing to patient assessments
• Providing high quality care in low secure wards, with patients suffering from personality disorders and enduring mental illness; and who may be experiencing acute episodes of illness
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation
• Compiling a plan of care alongside the individual
• Mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
• Promoting professional development within the team.

• An RMN qualification
