An amazing new job has just opened up for committed Clinical Deputy Manager to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers. As a clinical deputy manager you will be working for a care home based in Liverpool.

This home provides the best quality and state of the art care for people living with dementia who require residential and nursing care to meet their specific needs.

As a Clinical Deputy Manager you will;

  • Assist the Home Manager in ensuring excellent standards in Person Centred Care are provided by all Home staff
  • Ensure Registered Nurses are reviewing and updating Person Centred Care Plans as per company policy
  • Ensure all staff complete mandatory training and training specific to the service in line with company policy
  • Implement a supervision, and appraisal programme for all clinical staff.
  • Advise the Home Manager of the need to review and update clinical policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Support both staff and Residents to reach their full potential.
  • Ensure that all Residents have their personal needs or requirements met, including personal care, participation with activities and support with daily living tasks.
  • Report any incidents of abuse, mistreatment or noncompliance within the Home to the Home Manager.
  • Take reasonability for the safe working environment for self, colleagues and Residents
  • Implement the Homes policy on ordering, administration, storage and destruction of medication. Regularly check MAR sheets and evidence spot checks.
  • Conduct Resident reviews with agencies as requested.
  • Participate in the selection of clinical staff.
  • Undertake Resident pre-admission assessments on request.
  • Plan and manage staff rotas to ensure appropriate staff and competency levels.
  • Support the Home Manager in ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met as per company policy.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are read and understood.
  • Undertake regular audits of Person Centred Care and prepare action plans to address any issues.

·         A positive and flexible attitude and wholly adopt a person centred ethos, exhibiting empathy and a desire to make a difference.

·         Be forward thinking and up to date with current practices and have a desire to maintain excellent clinical and industry knowledge.

·         Strong leadership and management qualities are essential and previous experience as a deputy home manager would be desirable.

·         Deputy Managers are critical to the continued success of the business, working across all aspects of care; the role gives a great opportunity to take managerial and leadership responsibilities whilst continuing to deliver clinical care.

 

The successful clinical deputy manager will receive an excellent annual salary of £39,390.00 PA. This exciting position is for 37.5 hours per week on days. In return for all your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
